I am an independent dance artist and film maker, based in North Wales. I use Parkour, Bboying and video as a language to explore site-specific work. I often work with live musicians to inspire and explore movement.
I tour internationally as a performer and deliver workshops in the art of Breakdancing, Film making and Freerunning. I teach Bboying and creative movement concepts in schools and youth clubs around Gwynedd. Please get in touch for more information about booking workshops.
Tom Coulthard Carpentry and joinery.
I’m Tom a Carpenter based here at Hendre Hall. I love all things wood. I like to cut it, plane it, carve with it and build big houses with it. I have a close eye for detail and pride myself on fine craftsmanship. I enjoy all forms of woodwork- cabinetmaking, joinery, green oak framing and woodcarving. My latest project is building a timber frame house in Norway.

Emma Smith Jewellery.
I work with sterling silver, porcelain and glass enamel to create contemporary jewellery which is wearable and fun. I am inspired by the soft organic forms and beautiful colours found in the wild landscape of my home, Snowdonia. Due to the nature of glazes, enamel and the firing process I use, each piece is completely unique.
My practice inhabits the transect between botany, zoology and anthropology, often referencing ‘seeds’ as a unifying concept. For me, a seed is both a symbolic and potential object with the capacity to become anything. My work explores the human desire to categorise and then challenges the boundaries of these taxonomies. I am interested in the way classification shapes our worldview, giving binary interpretations that favour parts of society over others.
I work mainly in metal, which allows for a study of contrast, texture, weight, flow and foundation, and a process that juxtaposes cold engineered certainty and fiery visceral chance. The temporal relationship between my work and its environment is also a key factor in my practice, embodying a continuum rather than a captured moment in time.

Hand made products designed and manufactured on site. I come from a construction background so often take on jobs from the ground up, transforming shops, bars and restaurants, cafes and homes. I like to be challenged in my work and love coming up with solutions, ideas and products that meet or exceed any brief I am given. I love using a range of materials and being as original as I can.
I love my job and would like to think that shows in my work and attitude.
